The net wrap is fed right into the bale chamber via injection plates which allows the net wrap to remain tight at all times for a more accurate injection. Reduced maintenance is always a must with us ranchers - who wants to deal with the headache of being broke down!? Well with Kubota the main bale chamber drive is a heavy duty pitch chain, which allows for a longer lifespan and reduced maintenance, and to top it off a split drive gearbox helps ensure that power is spread out equally to help keep wear and tear down on these machines. VERMEER 605N When you think haying Vermeer can often times come right to mind; these folks sure know how to make one heck of a piece of equipment! They said the 605N is ranch tough and can handle just about anything you may throw at it. The 600N series are equipped with a 5 bar pickup that helps the Direct Feed System which feeds the crop directly to the bottom drum and bale-starting chamber. By reducing the chamber size by 50% Vermeer allowed for the hay to turn quicker in the baler. Some new features updated from Vermeer’s M series include: optional pickup clutch that will automatically stop when the bale size is met (I could defi nitely use this when I’m not paying attention!). Vermeer’s E-Link Pro display, which can be coupled with a scale kit and moisture sensor, will have you keeping track of the slightest change in crop condition. Also available is an auto-lube greasing system, which takes a lot of the work out when greasing the baler (never a pleasant chore) and can be set to user-defi ned intervals.
