The 27th Annual Winnemucca Ranch Hand Rodeo Weekend is the largest and most exciting in Nevada. 30 teams compete for bragging rights and prizes in Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Stopping, Wild Mugging, Trailer Loading, Team Roping, Ranch Doctoring, and Team Branding. Keep an eye out for the 400 vendors from 27 states and Australia and over $5000 in prizes and giveaways. Back by popular demand is the Scott Daily Horse Training Demonstrations. The American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) Convention is hitting Las Vegas, NV this year to spend some time reviewing AQHA rules and policies, along with some interesting workshops. www.aqha.com has all of the answers. The Ohio Beef Expo in Columbus at the Ohio Expo Center sounds like a great way to spend a few days in March. The 2016 Cattle Raisers Convention will keep Fort Worth, TX busy for a couple of days. It’s that time of year again for the 11th Annual Green Country Classic Ranch Rodeo and Tradeshow. Watch as 16 ranch teams from five states compete in exciting rodeo events such as wild cow milking, team penning, cattle branding and bronc riding.
