The 30th Annual Ranch Hand Rodeo Weekend at the Winnemucca Events
Complex in Winnemucca, NV never gets tired of seeing you out there in the
crowd. That’s why you want to go back again this year and bring a bunch
of your friends. You can watch 32 teams battle it out through all of the best
events these rodeos have to offer. Look it up at www.ranchrodeonv.com.
Come out to Grand Island, Nebraska for the 3rd Annual Rodeo Grand
Island. This is an elite all-star, sanctioned Professional Rodeo Cowboy
Association (PRCA) event, held at the Heartland Events Center in Grand
Island for, this, the third year. Rodeo Grand Island features world class rodeo
athletes, championship bucking stock and award winning contract personnel.
Look it all up at www.heartlandeventscenter.com/rodeo-grand-island.
(Bucking stock is free with admission so you can leave your frisky bulls
at home this year).
The American Quarter Horse Association Convention comes together
in Fort Worth, TX and if you are interested in these great horses, you might
want to look into this one. See www.aqha.com for the details.
The Wichita Falls Ranch and Farm Expo in Wichita Falls, TX
boasts over 400 vendors and something new to America called a
“Beer Garden”. (Maybe you go out to their garden and harvest
your own beers or something along that line.) Sounds like fun. Come
out and see the latest agricultural technology research and equipment.
http://www.wichitafallsranchandfarmexpo.net is the portal for the mortals.
The American Paint Horse Association (APHA) Eastern National
Championship Show is already setting up in Lexington, VA and you don’t
want to miss this one. Prepare to see some great showmanship from the
APHA enthusiasts of all ages. Check out www.apha.com to satisfy your
curiosity. (A gentle reminder that horses are still not allowed at the salad bar
due to the incident in 2015 where it was learned that sneeze guards were not
designed for the equine community).
The Cattle Raisers Convention and Expo opens with Discover Real
Answers to Your Ranching Questions. Sounds like a good enough reason
to hit the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, TX for a little looksee.
The event is open to all ranchers, landowners and cattle industry
participants and you’re guaranteed to walk away with ideas and energy
that will have a profound and profi table impact on your ranching operation.
www.cattleraisersconvention.com gets you all the info. (Who knows –
maybe you’ve been doin’ this ranching thing all wrong up until now).
