Winter Along the Powder River A PHOTO VISIT WITH KARENA APPLEMAN, MONTANA, AGE 15 This is the biggest herd of antelope we’ve ever seen. There were maybe 500 or more! A little over a year ago, we watched a man crash his plane below our house. He had to go to the hospital for a cut on his leg. He fl ew in to visit us with his new plane that had skis on it. My younger brother Clark and I went up the river on my 4-wheeler to look for deer antlers. We got stuck in the snow. I have an older and younger brother and we are all home schooled. My younger brother Clark and I did go to public school in Broadus for a couple years, but we felt we were missing a lot of the opportunities of living on a ranch, 24 I WORKING RANCH JUNIOR I SUMMER 2017
