truckers. They all are nice, and
they tell me about their trucks.
Wednesday October 25
Today I had to go back to school,
which I am not very fond of. I
would rather be out horseback than
in school but I think that’s all ranch
kids’ wishes. One of my teachers
always said, ”Never let schoolin’ get
in the way of your education”. That
sayin’ fi ts me well. At least I got to
go down to the sale barn after school
to eat pie and watch our calves sell.
We then went and got a few groceries
and went home. Since there
wasn’t anyone home for the day,
our dogs were going crazy because
they hadn’t seen anyone all day.
We have three dogs on the place
and I own one of them. Her name
is Missy. She is half Border Collie,
a fourth Blue Heeler, and a fourth
Australian Shepherd. She can be
a goof ball at times, but she’s a
great cowdog when it comes to

Today I was supposed to go sight
in my gun for deer season that starts
this weekend, but the wind was
That’s my older brother,
Crae, going to get some
more calves to weigh.
Whenever my grandpa would get a
new branding iron he would go test it
out on this barn door.
The T Bar is the brand
that my grandpa bought
with the ranch.
