blowing about 30 mph, so instead
of that I had to go and do chores
early and then do homework.
The neighbor that I hired out
to last Saturday gave me a deer
voucher and my season starts this
coming weekend. I’m really excited
about it because it’s my fi rst deer
hunt. Some of our neighbors are
letting me hunt on their land if I
see one on their property. I have
been scouting for deer in one of our
pastures but I’m not fi nding any.
Friday October 27
Today after I got home from
school I found that one of our
good friends had stopped by, so
after chores were done, we went
out to supper and ice cream.
I am so thankful that I get to
live on a ranch every day and get
to ride a horse almost every week.
Most kids my age don’t even own
a horse or know which end a cow
poops out of. In the evenings when
there are pretty sunsets I know that
God has given me another day to
live. Thank you for joining me for
a week on Cedar Creek.
Me and my trusty horse, Skoke.
A look at the whole operation.
